How to Get Rid of Yellow Teeth Natural Way
Yellow teeth are considered undesirable by just about everyone. This is why teeth-whitening products are so prevalent in the health market today. However, those products are not the only way to keep your teeth white.
Yellow teeth are often caused by factors such as smoking, coffee, tea and overly acidic foods. However, there are some methods to keep your teeth as white as possible.
1. Orange peels
Simply rub an orange peel on your teeth over the course of a few weeks, and you’ll notice whiter teeth. It’s important to do it before going to sleep rather than in the morning.
2. Strawberries
Strawberries carry a lot of vitamin C, which can help whiten teeth. Crush up some strawberries and rub the resulting paste on your teeth. Then, brush your teeth with toothpaste and warm water to enhance the effect.
3. Hydrogen peroxide
Hydrogen peroxide is known for its potential to bleach what it touches, and teeth are certainly no exception. Brush your teeth, rinse your mouth and then gargle a mouth wash that contains hydrogen peroxide, but don’t swallow it. You can also take baking soda and mix it with hydrogen peroxide to brush your teeth with. Follow this up by using your regular toothpaste and toothbrush to get the solution out of your mouth, as it is not healthy to swallow it. Remember, hydrogen peroxide can lead to sensitive teeth and gums, so use it carefully.
4. Lemons
Lemons also carry a natural bleaching effect; use lemons just like you would use any mouthwash. Gargle with lemon juice or use lemon peels to scrub your teeth just like you would in the aforementioned orange peel method. Go ahead and mix lemon juice with salt and put the mixture on your teeth. Leave it on for a few minutes and then rinse it. You can do this a couple of times per day to get rid of the yellow on your teeth.
5. Salt
Finally, salt is a very tried-and-true material to use while cleaning your teeth. Salt is healthy for your teeth because it brings a variety of minerals to the table that help bring back what your teeth have lost. Charcoal has a similar effect, and mixing these with baking soda can even further enhance the effect. Don’t use this method too extensively, however, as it can damage the enamel of your teeth and the gums around them
Yellow teeth are considered undesirable the world over, and methods to correct them are often highly sought-after. Using these methods, which employ items and foods that many people probably already have in their households, can go a long way toward making your teeth white again.
